The most well-known landmark of the Hanseatic city are the Bremen Town Musicians. A bronze statue created by Gerhard Marcks in 1953 stands in the heart of Bremen as a tribute to the popular fairytale by the Brothers Grimm. According to the story, a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster set off on a journey to Bremen in search of a better life.
2: Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg
The famous Sababurg Castle, also known as the Sleeping Beauty Castle, is the fairytale castle of the Brothers Grimm and impresses with its mighty location in the Reinhardswald Nature Park.
3: Hamelin: The Pied Piper of Hameln
The historical town of Hamelin is home to the legend of the Pied Piper and captivates with its beautiful Renaissance buildings.
