ALPINE ADVENTURE, SWISS MOUNTAINS & GOLDEN PASS LINE
Day 1: Zurich - Lucerne
Arrival at Zurich airport. Travel to Lucerne by train. Make sure to visit Lucerne’s landmarks – the Chapel Bridge and its Water Tower. The world-famous timber bridge is Lucerne’s most photographed destination. Take a stroll to the historic city center with its colorful buildings and enjoy beautiful views of Lake Lucerne with the Alps in the background.
Day 2: Lucerne - Mount Pilatus - Lucerne
With approximately 2.100 meters above sea level, Mount Pilatus is one of the highest peaks within the Lucerne region. From Kriens take the alpine gondola and ascend to the summit. Enjoy spectacular
views of the alpine landscape during winter! Return to Lucerne and enjoy time at your own leisure.
Day 3: Lucerne - Interlaken
Travel from Lucerne to Interlaken by train. Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Interlaken is a pleasant city to start exploring the nearby mountains, including the world-famouspeaks such as Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city.
Day 4: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch - Interlaken
Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. Jungfraujoch offers a year-round winter wonderland of snow and ice. Disembark at the highest train station in Europe, at an elevation of 3.454 m. Built in 1912, the train travels
approx. 9 kilometers high up in the mountains, crossing a tunnel through Mount Eiger. Upon arrival admire breathtaking panorama.
Day 5: Interlaken - Golden Pass Line - Montreux
Leave the Alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland behind you and travel by Golden Pass Line to the Swiss Riviera. The city of Montreux is world renowned for its jazz festival and located right by Lake Geneva. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Montreux’s pleasant lakeside boulevard and soak up beautiful mountain views.
Day 6: Montreux - Zurich
Enjoy the morning at your own leisure. Return to Zurich by train.
