Day 1: Arrival in Vienna

Day 2: Vienna
In the morning, enjoy a private guided walking tour of Vienna (2h): Nestled on the banks of the Danube, Vienna dazzles with its magnificent architecture and rich history. As the current capital of Austria and former capital of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Vienna is one of the great cultural centers of Europe and one of the most romantic cities in the world. Famous for its operas, beautiful Baroque architecture, classical music, the Prater, the Jugendstil and traditional Sacher-Torte. Composers such as Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn have also left their mark on the city. Your guide will introduce you to the Viennese Christmas traditions.
Day 3: Vienna - Salzburg
Travel from Vienna to Salzburg. Salzburg owes its world fame to the city’s magical skyline, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the fact that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born here in 1756. The city’s beautiful architecture has earned Salzburg a UNESCO world heritage designation in 1997.
Day 4: Salzburg
In the morning, enjoy a private guided walking tour (2,5h, tickets to Hohensalzburg castle incl.): the city offers the perfect combination of a picturesque mountain setting and a beautifully preserved old town, these days illuminated with thousands of Christmas lights. The historic center is dominated by many church spires, medieval fortresses and the magnificent Hohensalzburg Fortress. The spirit of Mozart still permeates the city. Day 5: Salzburg - Innsbruck
Travel from Salzburg to Innsbruck. In the afternoon, enjoy a private guided walking tour to the city of Innsbruck (2h): Experience Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol province, with it picturesque backdrop: nestled within the gorgeous deep valley of the River Inn, between the scenic Karwendel Mountains to the north and Tuxer Mountains to the south. The main street of Innsbruck is the beautiful, lively and elegant Herzog Friedrich Street. It connects with Maria Theresien Street, which is a major transport artery but is not accessible by private vehicles.
Day 6: Innsbruck
Today use your Innsbruck card (incl.) and choose from from a variety of activity options. You might want to take the cable car up to the Nordketten mountains, or visit the Swarovski Crystal World by shuttle bus. The famous Swarovski Crystal World was opened in 1995 which marks the centennial anniversary of the company’s founding. Multimedia artist André Heller designed a unique and magical place.
Day 7: Innsbruck - Vienna
