Day 1: Berlin
Welcome to Berlin! Arrival in Berlin and optional private transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Berlin
Discover the city at your own pace and join a regular city tour (Hop-on/Hop-off bus). Your ticket is valid for 24 hours. Visit Berlin’s famous sights such as the Kurfürstendamm, the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdam square. During the Christmas season, the capital city sparkles and twinkles along with the stars in the sky. Cozy Christmas markets, festively decorated streets and squares, transform Berlin into a veritable Christmas capital. The Gendarmenmarkt, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, provides a charming setting for the traditional Christmas market.
Day 3: Berlin - Dresden - Berlin
In the morning travel to Dresden by train. The capital of the Federal State of Saxony is famous for its majestic baroque buildings and churches along the banks of the Elbe river. Explore the highlights of this stunning baroque city and go on a regular Hop-On/Hop-Off city tour. The Dresden Striezelmarkt is the oldest Christmas market in Germany and dates back to 1434. Its name comes from the Middle High German Striezel, the typical and protected Dresdner Stollen, a type of Christmas cake. This Christmas market not only attracts with its longest tradition, but with other highlights alike. Make sure to visit the the world’s largest, 14.61-meter-high Erzgebirge step pyramid, which is the world’s largest accessible candle arch. In the afternoon return to Berlin by train.
Day 4: Berlin
Optional transfer to the airport.
