Day 1: Frankfurt
Welcome to Frankfurt! Arrival at Frankfurt Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure.
Day 2: Frankfurt - Würzburg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber
After breakfast travel from Frankfurt to Würzburg and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, which has been designated an UNESCO Heritage Site. After visiting Würzburg continue to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is known for its medieval architecture with half-timbered houses and the town wall you can walk on. Experience the city and visit the Christmas Market in the centre of the old town.
Day 3: Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Nuremberg
The morning is free to explore at your leisure. Make sure you visit the shop of Käthe Wohlfahrt, famous for its huge variety of Christmas crafts and decoration. Continue to Nuremberg for a city tour. The Christmas market in Nuremberg is the most famous one in Germany. Nuremberg originals are the famous Nuremberg gingerbread and the Nuremberg plum men.
Day 4: Nuremberg - Regensburg - Munich
Continue to the city of Regensburg. As the only authentically preserved large medieval city in Germany the Old Town Regensburg with Stadtamhof was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a sightseeing tour continue to Munich, the capital of Bavaria. Visit the main attractions, including the Marienplatz, the historic City Hall and the Christmas market.
Day 5: Munich - Neuschwanstein - Füssen
Continue your journey to Neuschwanstein Castle. The most famous castle in Germany was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, known as the Mad King because of his strong personality and eccentricities. The Bavarian king began construction between 1869 and 1886. Resembling the medieval castles of the German knights, this castle served Walt Disney as the inspiration of the Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland. In the afternoon continue to Füssen.
Day 6: Füssen - Stuttgart
Today continue to Stuttgart, the home town of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Visit the Mercedes-Benz museum and view over 160 models of cars. In the evening, enjoy the Christmas market around the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart. Get enchanted by its festive atmosphere try traditional Christmas specialties and immerse yourself in twinkling Christmas lights.
Day 7: Stuttgart - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
Continue to Heidelberg. Visit the old town, the famous Heidelberg Castle and the Christmas market. Located on the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany's oldest university town.
Day 8: Frankfurt
End of tour. Optional transfer to Frankfurt Airport.
