GLACIER EXPRESS ST. MORITZ – ZERMATT

Day 1: Zurich - St. Moritz

Travel by train to Chur and transfer to the train to St. Moritz, travelling through the spectacular Albula gorge. Arrival in St. Moritz.

Day 2: Glacier Express: St. Moritz - Zermatt

After breakfast board the famous Glacier Express, the slowest express train in the world. Experience the world-renowned Glacier Express, offering spectacular views of the Swiss Alps. Immerse yourself in dense forests, snowcapped peaks, spectacular waterfalls, impressive mountain ranges and and historic Swiss villages. Arrival at Zermatt, at the foot of Mount Matterhorn.

Day 3: Zermatt - Zurich

In the morning discover the Gornergrat. The Gornergrat is a spectacular mountain ridge in the Swiss Alps, located near Zermatt. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of iconic peaks, including the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa, as well as the Gorner Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in the Alps. The Gornergrat Railway, a historic cogwheel train, takes visitors up to 3,089 meters (10,135 feet), making it one of the highest railways in Europe. In the afternoon return to Zurich by train.
