Day 1: Zurich - Lucerne

Arrival at Zurich Airport. Travel by train to Lucerne. Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland, famous for its Chapel Bridge or "Kapellbrücke". Visit the old town with its colorful facades. Make sure to visit the historic city center with its colorful buildings.

Day 2: Lucerne - Titlis - Lucerne

At noon, enjoy a mountain excursion to Mt. Titlis. With an altitude of 3.238 m, Mt. Titlisis is one of the highest mountain peaks within the area of Lucerne. From Engelberg, ascend on the rotating Rotair cable car. Soak up breathtaking views of the Central Alps and the galcier. In the afternoon return to Lucerne.

Day 3: Lucerne - Golden Pass Line - Montreux

Take the Golden Pass Line and travel through alpine villages. Pass the city of Interlaken, nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Interlaken is a pleasant city and popular to start exploring the nearby mountains, including the world-famous peaks such as Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Leave the alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland behind and arrive at the Swiss Riviera. The city of Montreux is world renowned for its jazz festival and located right by Lake Geneva. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Montreux’s pleasant lakeside boulevard and soak up beautiful mountain views.

Day 4: Montreux - Täsch

In the morning spend some time at your leisure in Montreux. You might wish to visit the picturesque Chillon Castle (optional tour). Continue to the Swiss village of Täsch. Täsch is located approximately 6 km from Zermatt, the world-famous mountain village within the Swiss Alps.

Day 5: Täsch - Gornergrat - Zermatt - Täsch

Today take the train to Zermatt. It is a 12-minute train ride from Täsch to Zermatt. After arriving in Zermatt continue to Gornergrat. Enjoy spectacular views of
one of the most famous mountains in the world, Monte Cervino or Matterhorn (elevation 3.089 m). Return to Zermatt where you can enjoy time at your leisure to discover Zermatt with its unique charm and culture. Return to Täsch.

Day 6: Täsch - Zermatt - Glacier Express - Chur - Zurich

Early departure to board the famous Glacier Express, the slowest express train in the world. Experience the world-renowned Glacier Express, offering spectacular views of the Swiss Alps. Immerse yourself in dense forests, snowcapped peaks, spectacular waterfalls, impressive mountain ranges and and historic villages. In Chur change trains to continue to Zurich.
