Day 1: Zurich

Welcome to Zurich, Switzerland! Enjoy your arrival in Switzerland’s vibrant lakeside city, beautifully set along the shores of Lake Zurich. You may wish to explore Zurich’s charming Old Town with its cobbled streets and historic buildings, stroll along the elegant Bahnhofstrasse or relax by the lake while enjoying the surrounding alpine scenery.

Endless possibilities await for a fun-filled family day in and around Zurich. You may wish to visit the famous Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg, Switzerland’s largest interactive chocolate museum, where children and adults alike can discover the fascinating world of Swiss chocolate through engaging exhibits and delicious tastings. Later, continue to the spectacular FIFA Museum, an exciting interactive experience dedicated to the world of football, including the original FIFA World Cup Trophy. The museum offers fun multimedia experiences and activities for the whole family. Relax on a 1-1.5 hour boat cruise on Lake Zurich. For a memorable perspective of the city, ascend Uetliberg, Zurich’s local mountain and enjoy panoramic views over the city, Lake Zurich and the distant Alps.

Day 2: Zurich - Heididorf Maienfeld - Zurich

Today, travel to Maienfeld, the homeland of the world-famous Heidi story. Welcome to the original Heididorf, where the beloved story of Heidi comes to life amidst beautiful alpine scenery. Heidi has inspired children around the world for generations and continues to capture the hearts of adults alike. Visit Heidi’s original house and follow part of the famous Heidi trail from the village towards the mountains, where the story of Heidi and Peter unfolds across twelve themed stages. Surrounded by peaceful alpine landscapes, fresh mountain air and traditional Swiss charm, this experience offers a magical glimpse into one of Switzerland’s most treasured stories. Return to Zurich for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Zurich - Lucerne

After breakfast, travel by train from Zurich to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque lakeside cities, surrounded by stunning mountains and Lake Lucerne. Upon arrival, enjoy an unforgettable excursion to either Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi, two of Central Switzerland’s most famous mountain peaks. On Mount Pilatus, breathtaking panoramic views unfold across the Swiss Alps and Lake Lucerne, while Mount Rigi, known as the “Queen of the Mountains,” offers beautiful scenic landscapes, peaceful alpine atmosphere and spectacular lake views. Return to Lucerne and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the charming Old Town or along the lake promenade.

Day 4: Lucerne - Grindelwald

Continue your scenic train journey through the heart of the Swiss Alps towards Grindelwald, one of Switzerland’s most iconic mountain villages nestled beneath the famous Eiger North Face. As the landscape transforms into dramatic alpine scenery, pass charming villages, green valleys, waterfalls and towering mountain peaks that create a true postcard-perfect Swiss experience. Surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountains in the Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald offers a magical alpine atmosphere with traditional chalets, breathtaking views and endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

Day 5: Grindelwald - Trummelbach Waterfalls - Harder Kulm - Grindelwald

Discover some of the most spectacular natural wonders of the Bernese Oberland. Begin with a visit to the impressive Trümmelbach Waterfalls, where powerful glacier waters from the Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch mountains thunder through narrow rock formations deep inside the mountain. This fascinating natural spectacle offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. In the afternoon, travel by funicular to Harder Kulm, Interlaken’s famous panoramic viewpoint. Day 6: Grindelwald - Zurich

After breakfast, travel by train through Switzerland’s magnificent alpine landscapes back to Zurich.
