Day 1: Hamburg
Welcome to Hamburg! On arrival transfer to your hotel. The tour begins with a panoramic city tour. Hamburg is known as the city of musicals, its elegant boulevards and the port, which is the second largest in Europe.
Day 2: Hamburg - Bremen - Hamburg
Today you are going to visit the Hanseatic city of Bremen, which is the cradle of the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm “The Bremen Town Musicians”. The old town of the city offers many attractions such as the St. Petri Cathedral, the “Böttcherstrasse” and the old market square. In the afternoon travel back to Hamburg.
Day 3: Hamburg - Lübeck - Schwerin
After breakfast travel to Lübeck , a city with more than 1000 years of history. Lübeck was once one of the most important centers of the Hanseatic League and one of the richest cities in the Middle Ages. Its old town is surrounded by water and was declared as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Monuments like the Holstentor (Holsten Gate) standing at the entrance to the old town is a landmark and a popular photo spot. In the afternoon continue to Schwerin, a city that is characterised for its richness in water and forests, abundance of cultural treasures and a fascinating intact old town.
Day 4: Schwerin - Wismar - Bad Doberan - Rostock
In the morning visit the wonderful Schwerin Castle, located on an island in the center of town. Afterwards continue to Wismar, situated on the shores of the Baltic Sea. It is famous for its port, historical monuments in a typical red-brick gothic style and the great hospitality of its locals. Continue to Rostock with a short stop in Bad Doberan.
Day 5: Rostock - Stralsund - Rügen
Rostock, a Hanseatic city for more than 800 years that still preserves its ancient charm and offers today along with the seaside resort of Warnemünde multiple cultural aspects. The architecture of the city highlights the historical houses showing facades off different periods. Afterwards continue to Stralsund while going through the medieval alleys of the city you still can feel the “Seefahrtsromantik”. Leaving Stralsund you cross one of the longest bridges in Germany in order to reach Rügen Island. Rügen is Germny's largest island and famous for its stunning chalk cliffs which you are going to discover during a boat tour.
Day 6: Rügen - Güstrow - Berlin
On the way to Berlin stop in the city of Güstrow. The historic center impresses with its half-timbered houses made of gothic brick, with magnificent buildings that date back to renaissance times and the neoclassic town hall.
Day 7: Berlin
In the morning go on a city tour through Berlin. Today ends your tour.
